Rode the canal today, tied some orange tape from the tire to a branch. Could of used some more but I only had 15' of the stuff with me.
Re-route might be the best. It lloked like there are "old" gullies all ready on the "riverwatch" side. The other spot that is very wet seemed to have some armor in it.

Just a question, the extention (petersburg to water works) will that be worked on, as in smoothed out? A big part of me hopes not. Like the 'old school" feel of that section.

Rode 1/09/10, trail is mostly dry with a few wet spots. Very little mud do to it being frozen. Rode from the dam to the water works road and back, did not ride Lake Springs Loop.

Mark, I would of waded barefoot if needed. Done it before on hikes in NH. A lot better than hiking (in this case riding) in wet shoes/socks.

someone posted at SORBA that at the start of Snake Creek TT it was 19 and when he left at 4:00 it was only 32. That was without the wind chill factor.

Is this the reason for cold weather induced asthma in colder areas?

Looks like scattered rain showers on Thursday. Please stay off the trails 24-48 hours after rain.

Bottom of Skinny is closed. GW wet in places. The "notched log" is no longer. It is in two pieces with one moved so you can ride by. Stick cleaned a few drains, plenty more to be cleaned. Also cleared one non-rider.
If it rains it will be closed again.
