It looks like a lot got done this weekend, thanks. I will be working in Augusta today. Are there any trails at FATS that still need debris cleaned off? I can toss a hand saw and some pruners in my camelback and should have about 2 hours to sweep a trail.

My wife and I are looking at a new Subaru. I searched the forum and could not find anything. Has anyone had any experience with the program? Thanks

I was planning on coming up for the meeting tonight, but we got a good bit of rain in Statesboro yesterday. I assume fats is too wet to ride, but maybe one of you will tell me otherwise. Thanks

I just returned from a cross country trip with the family and wanted to thank everyone that makes riding around Augusta so great. We spent 2 weeks in Colorado and also visited family and friends in West Virginia and Arkansas. No where did I find the combination of a great club, several good bike shops, well maintained (and marked) trails and friendly riders that we have in Augusta.

That is funny. I meant, I would be going so slow that the video would look like a shaky still shot.

It was cool to see your videos, thanks. I am leaving with the family next week to spend July in Colorado. I would invest in a helmet camera, but at my speed it would just look like a blurry picture.

I have a 2 late 90's early 00's Manitou sx-? from an m2 stumpjumper you could have. They are both decent, I was just given a sid and have never done anything with them.

Also: I thought the tread on tower/big rock was in great shape considering all the rain. There were a few wets spots that could be greatly improved with minimal work while the trails are being cleared.

I also rode tower and big rock yesterday. After I passed the first few trees I started marking them on the GPS on my phone. I guess now I have to figure out how to post it. If a couple sawyers can get together to cut, let me know. With a little notice I can probably bring a crew out to do the clearing.
It also seems like it would be a good time for the USFS to hold a chain saw certification day.

I enjoyed meeting several of you at the work party, hopefully I will get to ride with you soon as well.
It is about time to get some new tires for my bike. I ride a stumpjumper hard tail with tubeless ready rims. I am currently on continental mountain kings with tubes and have had no complaints. I plan on going tubeless with stans and look forward to running lower pressures. I would rate durability above weight at my skill level. I like tires that roll quickly, a front that hooks up well in the turns and I rear that grips on the climbs. The mountain kings were an improvement in all three.
Tire designs seem to be changing so fast right now, I would like to know what some of you are riding. Especially what you are happy/unhappy with. Thanks

I am coming up from Statesboro for the work party. I was not planning on bringing my bike, but the website says FATS is open again. Are any loops dry enough for a ride?
