The November Explore The Trail Series will be at Modoc Trail on Sunday, November 7th at 1:30pm. Be sure to come ride and bring a friend. You do not need to be a member to ride.

The Nimblewill Festival is a SORBA members only mountain bike event. It is August 21 & 22 at the Wahsega 4-H Center, near Dahlonega in North Georgia. Checkout www.sorba.org for more info. I would like to give you some info on the Nimblewill Ride Leader Contest. In an effort to create some excitement for the Saturday morning group rides, the festival committee has created a new contest. Open to all current members. Contestants create their own festival ride and winners will receive a free weekend festival pass. You get to pick the route, name the ride and select your riding buddies for the highly sought after sweep positions. The committee will be contacting the winners by phone on August 19th. If one of the winners has already pre-registered for the event, we will offer a refund or credit. Since we have set a limit of 150 participants for Nimblewill this year, it's important to register early. A PDF file of the Ride Leader Contest form can be found at www.sorba.org. The deadline for entry is August 15th.

We are thinking about making a cd that is full of pictures & videos of the Baker’s Dozen 2004. A lot of pictures have been posted, but there are just as many that has not been posted. Email me at pfarrow@comcast.net if you are interested in getting a cd full of pictures & videos of the Baker’s Dozen 2004. If enough people want a cd, we think we can sell them for $5.00 each. The $5.00 will cover the cost of the cd, mailing material and postage. Emailing me does not commit you to purchase a cd, only to get a count of how many people want a cd. I will post info in a few weeks about what we are going to do with the cd.
Email pfarrow@comcast.net if you are interested in getting a cd full of pictures & videos of the Baker’s Dozen 2004.

The Baker’s Dozen event needs volunteers.
We need people to help with registration, parking, time clock, status board, course marshal, volunteer food, tent setup, cleanup and more.
We need volunteers to work shifts from 7:30am until 11:30pm. The Baker’s Dozen was very successful last year because of all the volunteer help. Please help again this year by volunteering.
Contact Paul Farrow at pfarrow@sorbacsra or 706-860-0469 and let me know what times you can work.
