Come join us for the October Explore the Trail ride at Hickory Knob State Park.
We'll meet at the big red barn at 10:30am on Saturday, October 3rd.
This trail system is comprised of Lakeview Loop (beautiful vistas of Lake Thurmond), Turkey Ridge (a short loop with lots of attitude) and Beaver Run (an in/out trail that leads up to the lodge and back and very suitable for beginners).
The SORBAcsra EtTRs are monthly guided rides (free to both members and non-members) designed to provide new and seasoned riders opportunities to try new trails, meet new people, socialize with new and old friends, as well as commune with other mountain bikers. These are no drop rides, so no one is left behind. Come check it out and show some support. For directions or questions contact us at SORBAcsra!

Directions below or enter Hickory Knob State Park into your device and once on the main rode to the park watch for the big red barn about a mile in on your left.
Keep an eye on the website or forum, we will not ride if weather or trail conditions are not good.
DIRECTIONS TO HKSP>
Directions from Fury's Ferry Road in Evans - cross the bridge into South Carolina (now you are on 28) and drive for about 23 miles to McCormick, SC.
At the light turn left onto 378
Drive just under 6 miles to state road S33.7 (it is the road just past the convenience store).
Drive just over a mile and a half to the entrance of Hickory Knob State Park on the left (I think it is marked Resort Drive but there is a sign for the Park).
Turn left it is about a mile give or take to the big red barn on the left. You can't miss it up on the hill on the left.
Allow yourself a good 45 minutes from the bridge taking you into South Carolina.
