Bartram? Ok, you lost me on that one. So, was I right, or wrong? I didn't click on your link. No, you were not correct. Brian got it. Bartram Trail, Lake Springs, directly across from the boat launch ramp. At HKSP, the trail never is directly across from a boat launch ramp. I just keyed on your mention of the Lake loop and boat ramp and gave you the win. MD Thanks for the explanation, makes sense now. BrianW knows the cow pic, so he's up. It's all good now.

Distance perception is hard to judge in a 2D photo, and it just looks like HKSP to me. I've only ridden Bartram once, and not all of it, so HKSP was the first to come to mind. Wrong is wrong, right?

Sure looks like Turkey Creek. Doesn't look long enough to be the 1st bridge, maybe the 2nd bridge, below the switchback?

Yeah John it looks like Turkey Creek a good ways past the power lines you ride above the creek go through a dip flow right then left on to this bridge, it's there a big tree on the other side of the bridge, to the right of the trial?......or i could be totally mistaken lol

Winner Chicken Diner! Jtaylor! One of my favorite sections on Turkey, 2nd bridge(?) that goes right into some good climbing switch backs.

creek crossing on FS 619. close to Turkey Creek Trail. That's alot of water in there. Usually you can see rocks.
I hope to ride thru that this weekend. Got a shortcut connector route to scout out.
I think I can get from 283 to 23 in 13.1 miles and only half is paved. Think it could be done in 14.6 miles with only 4.5 miles being paved.
That makes a "loop" of Modoc, Turkey, Wine 39.1 - 46.7 miles. And less pavement than the old cupcake/creampuff connector.

619 runs between 617 & 618 when you get to 618 take a left it will lead to Key rd. I really need to learn the picture posting process. my pictures wouldn't near as good
