The ploy of placing items on my (and the wife's) e-bay watch list worked! Unwrapped a Niterider MiNewt 250 cordless. ;D Was getting the biked ready for a ride when the rain came Hopefully will get a ride in the week.

After a year of riding exclusively on a rigid fork, Santa brought me a shiny new 80mm travel Manitou Tower Pro. Pretty excited about it. Thankfully the decals are on top of the clearcoat. They'll be gone soon.

Santa dropped by my house as well. He left a Fox Flux helmet and a bikepacking rear rack for my full-suspension bike from Old Man Mountain.

My new fork was a gift from myself. We also got some crappy gifts...my father in law got us this fabulous piece of home decor. It's the thought that counts, right?

Would you be interested in swapping that handsome bird statue for my piggy bank? Empty, of course.

Does this count? Will be great for stuff less than 18". Weighs less than 10 lbs, so I won't need the B.O.B. Maybe a Dakine Builder's Pack will be on my short list for this year. If'n ya don't like this one, then a set of 2011 XTR pedals, a 2011 pair of Specialized mountain bike shoes or maybe a new pair of Voler knickers count toward the thread? MD

That's such a sweet bike. You're a lucky SOB! For me, I got a new jersey, some socks, CO2 (great stocking stuffers ;D), and some new tires: I also got a Conti Mountain King for the front, but I had already bought a Specialized Captain. I've got 2 rides on the Captain so far, I'll put on the MK next and give it a try--the winner I'll keep and I'll either sell the loser or keep it as a backup.
