Spent Sunday two weeks ago clearing up the trail a bit. I built small obstacles of dead brush and branches to block off many of the short cuts through the trail. The reflective tape is doing a pretty good job and the best way to do it is follow the pink! So if you see a large amount of shrubbery built up at what looks like the correct way to go please do not destroy it or move it. Those blockages are there to channel riders into the correct places to ride.

Thanks. This is one of my favorite local trails. Haven't been out there in a while, but there were lots of short cuts that were being created. Looking forward to getting back out there soon.

Myself and a couple guys from work rode Friday afternoon. Seems to be a good little trail althought the trail seems "soft" on the nature trail as we rode by the trail entrance and ended up entereing at the road side parking lot. Definetly gonna be riding it more since it's about 15 minutes from work.

I was there the day after it happend and it was like riding in sand. Lucky for you you never have to ride that construction of mush if you choose not to by using the entrance near the road/power lines! Hope it went well and you didn't get lost like most do!

I've gotta give this trail another try... Last time I got lost and frustrated and gave up. I'm on Spring Break next week and I've gotta go to Aiken to fix the car... again (no wonder Oldsmobile stopped making cars), and I think I'm going to give it another try. If anyone is interested I'm gonna try to ride Monday or Tuesday, e-mail me at henry.hayes3@gmail.com all my emails get sent to my phone

I've never ridden this trail before, but read and hear a lot about it. Wish I COULD get out of the shop and go.I will be soooo glad when the time change gets here. At least I'll be able to get some miles in on the local trails here.

Thanks for cleaning up the trail and placing some boundaries. I rode the entire trail for the first time Wedn. I would usually get started and turn around because the trails just seemed to go everywhere. I really liked the gully section. Have a bruise on chest to prove it!!

I rode ORA Sunday afternoon, after helping at the Sorba water stop for the triathlon, which was about 1 mile away. Trail was in good shape, which was not a big surprise. This is the best wet-weather trail in the CSRA. However, Clown Corner is about as bad as I have seen, with a big washout towards the bottom. TJ- have you adopted this trail? Who is the "trail champion"? "We" need to make some type of plan to fix this area and then call a work party.

Ride last night was good, some deadfall from the last cold front. We cleaned off one downed tree mess. Clown corner was in decent shape but the fall-line section at the end is really getting rutted. Some sections are hard to see right now with the leaves, but will be ok in another week. Looks like more shortcuts are being made, which makes it hard for those folks unfamiliar with the trail.

Rode here last night, trail in good shape. Thanks to the person that cut the tree at the head of the ravine.

True thanks to whom ever cut the tree. That was not a small piece of wood. Looking at riding this trail Thursday around 5:00 PM. If the weather holds out.
