We were talking about that yesterday.
We are planning chow for between 25 - 30 people. That has been the standard attendance for the previous years. Some people will show up for the first ride and leave. Some will show up, ride, eat and then leave, some will eat and then do the night ride...You get the picture.
We have reserved spots 4 and 5 at the campground. They are very near the trail, and have plenty of room for bikes and food.
We would like a head count so if you plan on showing, give Angela a yell. A link is on the main page.

Should be a great weekend. As it stands right now, SORBA members have sites 1, 2, 4, 5 and 9! We get off work at 3:30pm Friday night and hope to be setting up camp by 5pm in site 4.

Just wanted to know if anyone can bring some firewood so we don't have to scrounge for it.I would get some but the girlie-man truck probably couldn't handle it.

I still have some left in the front storage compartment of the fiver. We got rained on pretty badly at HKSP and didn't burn it all. I will dbl-check that we have enough tonight when I load everything up. You bringing the rods and white puffy things?
Speaking of food, we bought 30 brats, 30 hamburgers and 40 beef dogs, and a bunch of charcoal. No starving this weekend.
Speaking of girly man trucks/vehicles, we looked at an '07 CRV the other day. Sure was nice!

Thanks to everyone for putting on a great weekend. The day ride was alot of fun, the food was awesome and 13 people on a night ride, now that was cool.

Yeah, I was impressed with the number of people that showed up. Lots of new and old faces. The skills clinic seemed to be a very popular event. A roaring fire topped it off.
We'll have to talk about locking up sites 1-5 (or more) for next year's Fall Bike Fest.
You are right about the night ride, although that ride is going to cost me! After borrowing Alice's Light and Motion ARC Li-Ion HID, and riding with it, I will be ordering one ASAP! Bright!
