Last week a friend and I rode the canal area. My buddy doesn't have a mountain bike (yet), so I let him borrow my Giant and I put some knobby tires on my commuter (1989 Trek) and rocked it out. Here's some pics. We started out at the headgates. Took the trail from the gravel parking lot down past the waterfall, then got on the tow path. Steel is cool. Then, we hit the trail! A lot of the pics didn't turn out good though. The vegetation is so thick it was pretty dark in the woods. These are the few good ones we got: Just before coming out by the beaver pond: Up and out of the gully: The old Trek was suprisingly fun. Tonight the same friend and I, as well as another friend (also not a big mountain biker) are going out to Keg Creek. Look for more pictures soon....

Dustin, Nice pics. Good to see you out riding trails that don't get the traffic FATS gets and perhaps have not gotten the rain of late FAT has gotten.
You get it. It is good to see.
