Anyone know a realiable mechanic that could look at a 1996 Dodge 1500 transmission? It's in Clarks Hill and can't go much further than North Augusta in it's current condition.

Yeah, I remember seeing you guys dive under that thing more than once when FATS was under construction  Our Garage Foreman here at my place of employment knows pretty much everyone who's anyone in the Edgefield area and has been in the auto maintenance "bidness" since he was old enough to turn a wrench. I spoke with him and he said he does not tear apart trannies, but he would be willing to recommend someone for you. If you want to, call my cell phone tonight. Michael |

Tranny is fixed. Mark Cheesborough on Telfair St in Augusta did it very reasonably. And I am happy to say it was the post on this board that hooked me up with him.
