I tried but couldn't get over to FATS on Sunday.
How did it hold up to the rain?

I was told by a co-worker that it was hardly wet at all on the trails and traction was great. He said they rode Great Wall and Skinny in the afternoon.

I rode out there last evening. I rode the Skinny loop.
A wet spot here or there. No worries. These places are localized, won't get much bigger than they already are and can be fixed with a small effort by some local volunteers.
Alot of lengthly (say 20-100') soft spots. Not really wet just soft. These are the spots I worry about, if there is anything to be worried about. We've all seen tread cupping and this is a way it happens. Trail is soft, gets too much traffic and "cups". This means the middle of the tread gets pushed below both edges of the trail. And the water can't get off the tread and stays in the middle where people ride. Over time, this situation builds upon itself and becomes a much bigger problem to fix than the localized mudhole.
I thought the Skinny looked great yesterday afternoon for getting over 2 inches of rain on Saturday/Sunday.

And, I might be able to ride Thurs. Any chance you could meet up around 5:00?

Yeah, we'll be in the park near the boat ramp.
I'm Dustin, and I'll be in either a white toyota camry (if I drive) or a green honda civic (if my friend drives).
See ya there.
PS - I'm guessing you're in college, right? where at? I just graduated from Georgia Southern in May.

Sweet, Its been a while since I've ridden there before. I'll have to reread the directions.
I'll be in a Silver Mazda3.
Yeah, I go to Lindsey Wilson College in KentuckY. I ride for their cycling team, in Dual Slalom and Downhill though.

That's cool man! I'm jelous, the only good riding in Statesboro was BMX, and the only reason it was decent was because we built some dirt jumps and ramps.
