We could use 50-100 cinder blocks?
Anyone have these and not need them?
Thanks.

True cinder blocks? will those bricks like I got before work? We could use both. Those bricks you got before are quite handy. And we could use more of them for just staight up armoring. How many more you got??? But I also need some cinder blocks. There is a kinda steep grade in the Brown Wave that is taking a beating from folks hitting their brakes on the DH or grinding their rear tire going up it. I've seen another trail use cinder blocks to hold the hill in place. And I'd to try it. The other trail is a motorcycle trail and the hill up there is much steeper and longer than the one of the BW.

They have utilized cinder blocks on a short fairly steep part of one of the trails at Dupont and it seems to be holding up extremely well!

I've got 30-50 cinder blocks that I can give to the cause. They're kind of old and many are filled with concrete. Let me know.

Chris, Yes, we'll take the cinder blocks. The ones filled with concrete won't work for what I have in mind w/ the steep hillside, but can work somewhere else. Well, they'd work, but would be really heavy to get into this location.
On the steep hillside, we'll bury the cinder blocks and fill them with the excavated dirt. One of the beauties of this is that the cinder blocks aren't as heavy as the concrete we use in other places.
Let me know what your plan is to get them out there. And when.
