omg! had a blast. My buddies and myself had never been to FATS before and we were amazed as to how much fun we had.
I love the place. Not sure who the gentlemen was that helped us around the trails when we first arrived but thank you very much!

Glad you enjoyed it. Were you in that group of four that ended up on the gravel road? If so, that was me.

WOW! That was the longest pace line I have ever seen on an unorganized mountain bike ride. I quit counting after 35 people. I promise you that there wasn't another ride in SC or probably the Southeast that had that many people. Think about how much revenue FATS is going to generate once the fees begin. What was more impressive was BV off the front from the start. Did you keep the lead, or were you taken over by stronger riders?

What stronger riders? :-)
That was Milo's farewell ride. I led them to the trails we needed to get on, then let the youngsters up front. I did lead Milo around Brown Wave and almost made to the parking lot. But I faded coming up the Skinny. Fun ride w/ those boys from Greenwood (and a few locals as well).
FATS was packed yesterday.

Signage is supposed to be in the works soon, and so are the fees. When I saw the direction you guys were headed, I knew what route you were following and that you were off track in a big way. Later on, I came upon a group of BV's crew, and they were waiting on someone to tell them how to get back to the parking lot. Hours before that, I came across a rider who didn't quite know how to get off the DS lollipop. He heard our voices and found us. ..Need some signs...
