Rain rain go away!
FATS is closed today and tomorrow. Hopefully it will stop raining today/tonite and we can open it back up Friday. It needs a day off after the rains stop.

Wondering if FATS will be good to go on Friday, anybody been out there this afternoon? Thanks! I went out and looked at it Thursday evening. Looking at the first bit of trail coming out of the parking lot is not a good place to see it the muddy spots are muddy. Every other trail is good to go Friday morning. Give FATS a rest until at least Friday afternoon. And it will be rockin' and rollin' for the weekend.

Yeah, I checked this morning and the sign was up.
Went on over to Lick Fork (Horn Creek) and had a good ride. I forgot how much fun the middle section is going ccw. I ususally ride it cw. It also reminded me why I broke down and went full suspension besides being an old guy (roots!). Trail was in good shape, no logs besides what's suppose to be there. Thanks Michael for all the work you do to keep her in shape!

Glad you enjoyed the ride out there. Due to the location of FATS, the better half and I have been hitting FATS hard and "neglecting" most of the other trails. With the trail closure coming up though, the other trails should see an increase in traffic.
We got out and did the chainsawing week before last on HC, and then got in some laps. Like you, that trail sure does make one appreciate FS! Feels like a dadburned jackhammer going into section 2 (cw). This past Sunday we got some fast, fun miles in at Petersburg (Lake Trail).
