We notched two of the big logs today on the Great Wall.
On one of them, we left the tree it's full size on the line where the logs were ramped on one side and the big rock was on the other. If you could ride that line, or aspired to, it is still there. We also notched the log just next to this line and made no ramps up to it. After looking at it, both lines will be challenging.
On the other tree, we notched the whole thing pretty wide. But again it still offers a nice challenge.
There is one other tree we wanted to cut, but the saw was too dull to go get it. It probably needs to be completely removed. It is about 50' above the Great Wall itself.
There is a fourth log out there that is a rider.

Thanks for you efforts and hard work!! It was kind of a drag to have to stop and dismount on those portions of the trail.

Well damn, someone move the tree that was an easy rider and broke one on the notched trees we made. So two of the three riders are gone. And to add insult to injury, the one that needs to be cut is still there.

Give it a month and there will be a couple new "challenges" on the trails. You know it doesn't take long around here! Michael
