let me get this crystal clear the CSRA chapter needs at least 250 registered members before any new trail past the 18 miles we have now will be considered? No matter how much money or time we have pledged. I'm printing and keeping some apps. in my truck.

let me get this crystal clear the CSRA chapter needs at least 250 registered members before any new trail past the 18 miles we have now will be considered? No matter how much money or time we have pledged. I'm printing and keeping some apps. in my truck. I don't plan to build anymore trails out there until we have 250 members. Perhaps someone else can do it. If folks want to see more trails at FATS - join. Is this too much to ask for what SORBA-CSRA has done? Let me remind you ....SORBA-CSRA members built Hickory Knob, Baker Creek, the reroutes on the Long Cane Horse Trail and the Bartram Trail. SORBACSRA members rebuilt Wine Creek's bridges and mow all the trails regularily, perform regular maintenance on the Canal, and finally SORBA CSRA members built 22 miles to date at FATS. Seems like a no brainer to me. But life is full of takers. Many folks operate with the mentality of people on welfare...wanting something for nothing.

It really is a no brainer. I renewed my membership last week for a grand total of $37 for a family.that makes two members. That comes to something like $4 per trail that I ride per year. ;Dthats cheap entertainment!A good tire costs $37!what more can you ask for $37!stop reading this and JOIN!

Most of us reading these forums are already members, and most are pretty doggone involved with the chapter. We all need to find a way to get new members.
Here's what I am doing: I printed a hundred SORBA membership applications. When I get to a trailhead, I look at the vehicles in the parking lot. If I see a vehicle I do not recognize, I put an app on the windshield. Recently, FATS has been busy as heck! I have gone through quite a few and will need to print some more!
Not trying to tick anyone off, just giving people one less reason to put off joining. I also put a note on the top right corner that if you are already a member, please pass the app to someone who is not!
