From the USFS folks that made the FATS happen. We'd have gotten nothing without this man making this request.
Bill,
Please get word out to as many as you can that Turkey Season begins April 1st, and it is suggested to not ride at all opening day, and for the next few weeks to ride only in the middle of the afternoon, trying to avoid morning and evening riding. I suspect that the DNR and I will begin to get our first negative feedback from the public should we get much user conflict between the two user groups. Thank you, and have a good weekend.

Hunting is not allowed on public lands on Sunday in South Carolina. This is the greatest Blue Law of all time. And one I hope never changes.
Just this year it became legal to hunt turkeys on Sundays on private land in SC.
