We are going to have a work party at the Augusta Canal Single Track Trail on TUESDAY, JULY 22, 2014. This is for the Lady's ride on July 26 presented by Andy Jordan's Bike Warehouse and the Explore the Trail Ride presented by SORBA-CSRA on August 2nd. We will meet at the Canal gate on Goodrich St (behind the Kroc Center) by the old mills at 5:15 (you must be on time because we have to lock the gate after we go in). If you show up later, you can park at Eisenhower ball field and walk in from there.
If we have enough people, we will be running the DR mowers, hedgeing, sawing and lopping as much of the trail as we can before dark. Remember to bring water and work gloves. Also, there is a lot of poison ivey on this trail, you may want to wear long pants and shirt.
