The North American Handmade Bicycle show as in Charlotte, NC this weekend, and if you didn't go, you really missed out. So much cool stuff, all built by hand. The CSRA's own Nate Zukas had a good reception at his first big show, already even has an interview published on the Peloton magazine website! pelotonmagazine.com/goods/nahbs-2014-meet-nate-zukas/I took a lot of pics, the highlights are on my FB page right here. You don't need a FB account to see them. I know some other folks went and got pics of stuff I missed, post 'em up!

A few of my favorite pictures from the NAHBS - Always great to see a local (to Augusta) builder when attending a national show - his bikes got a lot of attention from attendees - Nate Zukas! No particular order - Boo had a great display of bamboo bikes - Several vendors are working in wood - I didn't really understand the concept on this bike and Daniel was not nearby, the guy demonstrated it and it seemed to fold as he threw his weight forward....... Liked the red cable covers - This bike from a Japanese bicycle builder had interesting connection fittings.... Totally took me back to the 70's - This group did some really artsy frames - Not usually into pink but this pink, which was nearly iridescent, I liked very much - Lots and lots of cycling caps - Nice bike - Cool look - Anyone ready to ride out to do some ice climbing??? The custom shoe booth seemed to be getting a lot of attention (see the molds on the table from customers) - I liked the Chris King advertising - Parent/Child bikes but these were very high end (the child's bike also had XTR) - Woven bamboo bike frame - that gal actually weaves the bamboo which is grown in Alabama - A nice city option, these folding bikes really folded down very nicely - And walking in to the show, liked the bike carrier on the motorcycle -
