We were at Mistletoe State Park and got 90% of the small (non-chainsaw) stuff cleared before it got too dark. Six or 7 large non-riders need to be cut. The trail was littered with lots of debris and was the wettest I've seen in years. I think it may be months before all of our trails are back to normal. Water was flowing fast and deep at nearly all the creek crossings. So deep, that we took our chances on traversing large logs at most of the crossings. Mistletoe will need more work before the March EtTR. Some pics posted on Facebook. Water flowing over Rock Dam Section of trail lost when tree fell and root ball took trail with it. Water flowing around trees in creek starting to erode what remains of that section of trail.

Mistletoe State Park is completely clear and ready for the Explore the Trail ride next Sunday (1:30P, Ranger Station). Thank you to Mr. Pilcher (our USFS certified sawyer), Paul F., and our newest two-day in a row volunteer Bill S. (who, along with Paul, also volunteered at FATS yesterday). We cut more than 20 trees today on Mistletoe proper and tidied up the back door by cutting another 4 trees (including two monsters) and installing a directional log (see pic and some others on FB page at goo.gl/BqFZjH). We appreciate y'all giving back to the trails today!

Rode Thursday afternoon (April 10) and everything was dry. There is some decent flow on the creek so I opted not to cross the slick rock. I kind of regret that now.

Did the Christmas Part ride this weekend, both Keg and Mistletoe are in FINE shape. Rode the new back door trail that was raked in for the Wildwood games. Everything rides nice. Vid of Seth (aka Stud Muffin) riding the Rock Dam here: http://instagram.com/p/qEuH39ypoy

Just a heads up n the backdoor, There is one "false" rake-a-trail before you get to the legit one. Look for the tape in the woods.
