I rode from Petersburg to Wildwood yesterday evening. There is a serious head banger down about 6 miles in, headed to Wildwood. I'm only 5'3" and I had to duck as much as I could to make it under, and my pack still brushed the tree pretty hard. Also a couple of non-riders down. One was shortly after the head banger and the next was at about 6.5 miles.

Please use caution on the Lake Springs loop, received a report of a yellow jacket nest around a downed tree about 1/2 a mile in on the Lake Springs if you are traveling CCW.

Removed the downed tree on the Lake Springs loop noted above and unloaded two full cans of spray on the yellow jacket nest - hopefully they are eradicated. The nest is located on the left side of the trail (if traveling CCW) close to the trail just after a tree but before the cut log.

Rode 10/13 from the 'burg to the big dip with my daughter. Two non-riders, first before mile 7 (just after the banked turns and the second between 8 and 8.5. Trail was in good shape.
