This was the first time I have ridden the trail....heck, it was the first trail I've ever rode, lol. So I am still learning. To me, the trail didn't seem to bad. There was still water in the area where others have said, and a few uphills seemed to be eroded under the roots leaving a foot or 2 step up. A few hills seemed to be a little to sandy at the bottom. But I dont know if thats me or the trail. I only had to get off my bike a few times, but that was mainly because I havent built the strength up in my legs to make it up the steep hills.
I am looking for someone who can help me out with the basics and such of the trails and handling. There is only so much you can learn from the internet. Right now, my freetime is during the day(which is usually when everyone is working, lol)

Ace welcome to mountain biking! An opportunity could be just around the corner for you. There will more than likely be a significant work party coming up on just that trail (probably January)! There are a variety of things that will need to be done and we will need plenty of volunteers. Keep an eye on this forum under the work party section (or you can email me and I'll let you know once the work party is scheduled at sorba.csra@gmail.com). Just as a note, that is the trail I learned to mountain bike on many, many years ago, I think it is a great trail to hone some skills!

ace, I'd only really consider myself a beginner-intermediate rider and am not sure how much knowledge I could offer, but I'm free during the days (now that I moved to the glorious mid-shift at work) so if you just want someone to ride with during the day I'm down!
