Good workparty. Lake Springs, and the trail in general, is in great shape. After the work party, we rode the entire trail and although we were honestly exhausted after pushing a DR for 3 hours, the trail rocked. Thanks to those that showed up to put in some sweat equity. Paul and Dale put in carsonite marking posts (with mileage stickers) and Larry did some lopping and installed white trail markers on the trees. Look forward to seeing a hunnert people at the '09 BikeFest! There will be brats, weenies, burgers and ten pounds of boiled peanuts! Oh yeah, Paul counted the tubes to be used for the Tube-Popping-Contest for the children. We have plenty of tubes. Please bring your floor pumps if you do not mind! MD

What should we bring to BikeFest? Side dish? Fruit Plate? Ice? Drinks? Dessert?

What should we bring to BikeFest? Side dish? Fruit Plate? Ice? Drinks? Dessert? You really don't need to bring anything. This is our annual get-together where the food, beverages and games are provided by SORBA/CSRA. If there is a side dish that you love making and want to share, then feel free to bring it. If you have a special type of drink you just must have, then you may want to bring that, but the idea is to have a fun event that you can just show up to, ride your bike (even that is not mandatory!), eat, drink and participate in games.
