Primo. Both sides of the road are in great shape.

I will second that. Just a little thick coming through what I think is the old runway. Pardon if that is not the spot but today was the first time riding the trail. Did not ride past the lake springs road so I can not comment on that part of the trail.

Thanks for the info. This trail handles a bit of rain really well, and the work that the Eagle Scout group did made the problem areas (mud holes) disappear. This is a fun trail to hit hard and fast in the big ring!
This trail has actually been seeing quite a bit of traffic this year. The tread is very well beaten down. We will be camping at Petersburg in a couple of weeks and plan on taking the Stihl stick edger in by boat to trim back the air strip again.

It is perfect for novices and just a good Sunday "stroll" for people a step or two beyond.. That is why I am excited about the prospect of getting an extension to Wildwood.

I understand that the bid packages have been sent out to 4 prospective bidders including LCT. June 20 is the date to assemble the first of 4 eventual bridges in the "March to Wildwood". See posting at Workparty thread for details.

On June 19 - there were 4 trees down. One you could go under - 3 you had to get off your bike and climb over....
