I rode Baker Creek today with 3 friends and it is in need of riders... It is overgrown and it is easy to lose the trail in several places. When we got to the parking area there was one truck with 2 bikes in it that was loading up to leave. When we got back the parking lot was once again empty. This is such a great trail and it deserves some tread!

The last word we got was that BCSP (and the trail) was closed for the winter. Todd (ranger) sent out an email requesting we respect the closure of the trail, since there are so many spots where you cross the paved road. I thought it was not going to be re-opened until the first part of April.
FWIW, Yetichick and I enjoy camping at HKSP and riding it, BCSP and LCHT in the same weekend. Great variety, and great fun.

Yeah, I though so too, but we were driving out to HKSP and we noticed the "closed for season" sign was gone and the gates were open so I figured no harm, no foul, paid the fee and rode on in.
