Is this an invitation? Seems like our 80-something channels doesn't include the Documentary Channel

Yeah, that was something I was working on with John Liebe and Jon Taylor - then Liebe disappeared.
Taking the coordinates directly from the Google map would be close, but not exact. In some cases adjacent markers completely overlapped when zoomed out, so several of the offending markers were shifted a little to make the map more readable at the default zoom.

I'd be willing to do it over the winter. If it needs to be done sooner, I can loan someone my GPS unit with the trails loaded on it.

I can help out Saturday (09/11) morning.
I have only been Lick Fork once (two years ago) and don't remember much about the sections or parking. If you tell me where to park (or Google map) I'll be there at 9:00AM - possibly earlier if needed.

Hopefully there will be more kids this year. Last year, my little guy had a hard time competing against the adults during the inner tube popping race. Regardless, he is still looking forward to BikeFest '10.

Thanks Wala and Brian for clearing the cobwebs; there were very few remaining/rebuilt when I rode through after you. Not only was the trail in great shape, but most of the roots were dry ;D

SorbaCSRA home page says FATS is wet, there was a recent thread about people riding FATS when wet, and it rained several afternoons this week. Pretty good chance FATS is still wet.
Not mad or sensitive, just encouraging folks to try some other trails this weekend.

If you have to ask, I probably wouldn't ride.

What is your cleaning regimen? Freezer. Inflate bladder using bite valve (clears water out of hose and connector) and lay flat on shelf with hose connection facing up. Before next ride or unscrewing frozen cap, put in fridge overnight or thaw on counter (~15 minutes). Old water is giant ice cube. CB bladder still going strong after 2 years of freeze/thaw cycles.

Did anyone ride thru the first creek crossing? Several people rode through the first creek crossing and several others walked with their shoes on.

Yep, those two big ones stopped me in my tracks. The small ones, even when crawling on your glasses or under your visor, are easy to rationalize that they can't do too much damage. Once they're about an inch big, they might as well be as big as Shelob (LOTR) or Aragog (HP)

A few more trees down since JT was last out there with the chainsaw.
The first tree was at the first large/deep creek crossing (going CW). This is the crossing where there was recently a reroute. The second tree was about 3.5 miles CW. Trees three and four are 5 ft. from each other and both hang over the trail as you climb up to boulder creek. These last two trees are ~6-7 ft off the trail and probably could be ridden under by some folks.
Lots of tasty spiders out there this morning; mostly the small kind with a thick, whitish triangular back part. We did see two larger spiders; one was brown and skinny and the other was black/blue.

Rained for about 10 minutes @5:15PM yesterday. Don't know whether there was more rain later in the evening. When we left at 7PM, the trails were perfect.

Here is a link to Google maps bit.ly/cfD26BThere should also be a map at the South parking lot Kiosk and the trail intersections are well marked.

I don't know about Garmin Connect uploading waypoints but, if you convert your GPX file to KML or KMZ, you can upload it to Google maps or Google Earth.
edit: If you email me your GPX file, I can do it for you.
