First time at Turkey and had a good time. Will have to head back sometime when I can ride longer.
MD, I was the one that behind you from the 5 mile point to just past the power lines. Had to turn around than, told the wife I would be back by 3pm. As Paul mentioned when I was leaving, "Cannot mess up the kitchen pass"

Wish I could have made it - missed Turkey Creek at Thanksgiving due to the monsoon that sent me home to Jax early. Instead I was in South Florida this past weekend riding after my trip to our Vero Beach and Ft. Lauderdale offices last week - count your blessings as anything you have in CSRA beats anything presently in South Florida, although I must report the weather for my drive to Key West yesterday was 79 degrees and sunny.

Sorry I missed it too. My fiance was off that day (first weekend she's had off in about a month) and I had already promised to hang out with her for the day.

What I was thinking BV!
Hey, EdgeE and BrianW and anyone else that shows up for these rides: I don't bite! Come up and say "Hi, I am (insert forum name) but really prefer (insert real name!)". It may take a couple of times of saying Hi before it sinks in, but I plan on being here for a loooong time and would like to meet some more people that truly care about our trail systems.
I have two hundred more pics. If you wanta tell me what you were wearing, I can post a few more...

Hanging out can include riding, and we had probably six couples there. Hot chocolate, RC treats, brownies, life's good! Of course, all things in moderation, right? There was quite the talk of kitchen passes Sunday. She does give you quite the leash! MD

Great ride. This was my first time at Turkey Creek and my first SORBA ride. Got lost somewhere between the 5 mile point and the end of the trail. The trail turned right, away from the Creek. I found found myself on a wide logging trail that led to a forest service road. I suspect this was Road 617. I missed a left turn somewhere.
Thanks for the brownies.
