Bike fest was super fun. It was Stefer's first time riding a trail and she had a good time. The food was excellent, and the games were really fun. I somehow managed to win the limbo contest (barely), Drew took the bunny hop contest (was 26" or 28" the final height?), and Russell took the track stand. Watching Russell do the bunny hop contest was cool, trials riders are awesome.
The tube popping contest was really fun to watch! Those things are LOUD when they let go!!
Thanks again to everyone that organized and put it on, everyone had a great time.
I saw lots of cameras through out the day, so lets see some of those pictures!

Kim and I had a blast! Thanks to all the SORBACSRA folks for putting together a great event! Hope to camp next year...assuming I can get the day off again. I think the final hope height was 24". I'm still in a state of shock. I'll have a few pics of the bike games up on our blog soon. Did I see someone shooting video?

Thanks to all who showed up, and thanks to all who put in great effort to make it happen. This felt like the best one ever. We had well over fifty at the trail head to start the BF08. That fifty then showed up at site 1 for the food/fun/games, along with an additional twenty or so that were not at the trailhead!
The games were a big bonus this year. If you wanted to participate, there was a game for you. I have a few shots to post here in a bit.
Sitting around the campfire was really enjoyable, as was seeing a whole passel of new faces, young and not-so-young!
The videographer was Annette Drowlette, staff photographer for the Augusta Chronicle. I heard that she was shooting it for her blog, but have not been able to verify it.
