A friend and I are going to ride all six loops at FATS tomorrow, starting at 8am. We'll do the top three first, then make a pit stop in the parking lot to refill camelbacks and eat, then do the "easy" three. Neither of us have ever ridden all six loops, so we'll be riding at a moderate pace to try and conserve energy.
Everyone's invited ;D
Be sure to bring extra food and water if you're going to ride 'em all!

Well, add me to the small (but growing) list of people to ride all six loops at FATS in one day. Rode the top three then took a lunch break, then rode the bottom three. Rode everything CCW, except Great Wall, rode it CW. Spent a lot of time waiting on people, plus we took a long lunch break. Not sure how long the whole thing took, but my ride time was 4 hours and 8 minutes.
I want to try it again sometime by myself, and keep my stops to a minimum. I've found that after taking a long stop I don't feel as good.
Looking forward to Fool's Gold 50 next weekend, it'll be my first time riding in the mountains.

I'd like to try and get all 6 trails in on one day. It can't be this weekend...maybe next saturday. I would also like to keep the rest stops to a minimum. Not that I'm buff, but it's like you said, the longer the break, the harder it is to get back into it. We can always adjust the length of the breaks to suit the day/situation.

I could probably do it again next Saturday.
