Greetings, Can anyone please tell me when hunting season is over in Ga. ? Is this trail on any private land or is is strictly Army Corp of Engineers property? The bubbas in the trees kind of spook me and I'll be sure to wear orange or some other bright color when going out there.
Thanks

I have heard Jan 18 is the last day. Not from an official source, unless Brian Bigsby is an official source.

Just checked the state DNR page and they can hunt woodcock until January 18th and they can hunt crows, doves, foxes, bobcats, possums, raccoons, rabbits and squirrels until February 29th.

That that is so funny I put the actual name of a real bird in my reply and they obviously didn't like that name since it can also be a slang name for a male body part so they put meatloaf. Hilarious because when I went to check my reply and saw woodmeatloaf I thought what the heck I knew I didn't type in meatloaf.

Use the preview message before posting and you can catch it before posting. That way you can substitute with another word if possible. ;D ;D ;D

I don't know, but with the wood part doesn't sound like it would be on the Atkins plan, which is having such a huge resurgence in popularity, even if you could capture it - sounds too high carb .

there's just something so funny about seeing the word woodMeatloaf as opposed to woodcock

But I only typed in the second woodMeatloaf........the first one IT substituted since it didn't like the fact that I typed in woodco<k (a type of bird).............

Hey Baby Squirrel.........type in the real name for the male part and push preview instead of post to see the substitution........now that is really funny.......
