I noticed that my rear wheel is not in the center of the frame(the tire is closer to one side of the frame). I tried re-installing the wheel in the drop-outs, but that didn't help. I'm pretty sure it's been like that since I bought the bike. Should I get it looked at? Does the wheel need to be "dished"? How much would a LBS charge to adjust it? The wheel runs true btw. Thanks in advance.

Are you sure your frame is symetrical? I know on my bike the drive side is a little different than the non-drive side. Instead of looking at the tire where it passes through the seat/chain stays, I'd get behind the bike and see if it lines up w/the seat tube.

I think the frame is symmetrical, and the wheel seems to be at the right angle. Do you think an LBS would be able to check and see if the geometry is right, and everything is angled right? Here are some pics. It's hard to tell, but the wheel is closer to the right side of the frame. I also posted a picture of an old Fuji MTB, and it's centered. The bike is an 07 Diamondback Response if it helps.

You could take to a LBS and have them take a look...but honestly, if you can't feel it, I wouldn't worry about it.

Yeah, to be sure, I'll let them take a lot. It's probably time for a tune-up anyway.
Thanks.

Looks like a bent rear triangle, take it back to where you bought it. Hard tails w v brakes usually are not asym.
