I know it's short notice but....I'm heading to Modoc tomorrow (Sunday the 4th) @ 3:00 to ride and clear as many trees out as I can. I have a small folding saw that's great for stuff up to about 9", and I bought a small hatchet today that should work for larger stuff.
Anyone else interested?

Well, I'm gonna head out earlier than planned. I don't know if there would have been time to hit FATS afterwards safetybreak...not without ending up in the dark anyhow. On the plus side, Modoc will hopefully be cleared to ride by 3:00.
I'll do a night ride w/ya at FATS sometime early this week if you want, Weds. the last day I can do it however (heading to the 'boro on Thurs.)

Well, I went to Modoc and did some work, however, nearly riding every day last week finally caught up to me. I rode to about the 2 mile mark and then turned around and headed out. That trail kicks my but every time, I always wear out quickly.
I cleared out some of the smaller stuff at that big mess when you first drop into the trail, should make it easier for some one w/a chainsaw to get in there. I also cleared out a few other small trees. I didn't mess with the big ones, it wasn't worth the effort to try and cut them all out by hand. I also left a few that were rideable.
