Is Fats open today (1-3-06). What is the consensus on the dryest way to get in 12-15 miles?

But I called my wife and asked her to take it down this afternoon when she goes by there. Dryest is going to be Upper Skinny and Brown Wave. Hopefully, the Great Wall, Deep Step and Lower Skinny are still blocked off.

Bman, Are you the guy that gave me a tube last weekend for the tube I gave you in the time trials? Just curious.

No, I'm not the guy. I rode the reccomended route this afternoon. It is still wet enough to make a mess of your bike, but it is now 99% dry. The barrier to deep step was down, but the ones to the great wall CCW, and the one to the great wall CW/skinny CCW, and the skinny beyond take-off to brown wave were all up. I got some tape from the trailhead and re-erected the barrier to deep step at 5pm today. BTW, I'm the pain doc you met the other day.

I almost forgot - Upon reflection, it may be best in the long run to plant posts at the trailhead and the major intersections so you can place a cable across that cannot be prematurely taken down. This would eliminate any confusion or excuses, and you could selectively reopen as appropriate or close entirely more effectively.

B-man, Good idea on the post/cable.
Oh yes, pain doc. Good to ride w/ you the other day.
If BW and Skinny are muddy in places, the closed trails (Great Wall, Lower Skinny, Deep Step) are worse.
Thanks for the update.
