This by far is my favorite EtTR of the year. Long Cane just rocks to ride and IMO is the real secret gem of riding in the CSRA. Trails offer a little of everything, some have a FATS feel to them while other sections are just old school.
This is not one to miss!

We also have more of the trail cleared out now vs last year. So out of Fell you can now go left down 9 min trail and make a loop towards metal bridge and back. Should be some great trail conditions.

Don't forget to sign up for the National Trails Day cookout up at Long Cane Trails this coming Saturday, June 6th. We need this information to make sure we have enough food for the riders/guests who are coming to enjoy some riding and socializing on this great trail system. If you haven't ridden this trail system before now is a great time to get the grand tour (or something shorter by the riders who know it like the back of their hands). Bring your friends, you do not have to be a member to join us and the food is on us! Sign up here to be added to the list for food!
If you sign up by midnight, June 3rd you name will go into a drawing for a nice prize. You can still sign up after that date but why miss out on the opportunity for the prize.

Great news, we will now have another ride option for National Trails Day. There will be a 15+ mile gravel road option and since it is an out and back ride, riders can opt for any length ride they want. This will be a moderately paced ride.

Looks like tomorrows National Trails Day celebration will be as successful as last years (we have over 60 people signed up for the cookout)! Tomorrow should be a great day for a ride and cookout with temps in the 80s.
We are still keeping up with trail conditions after the rain at this point and will have the final word this evening. Please be sure and check back here on the forum before heading out in the morning to ensure we have not had to cancel the event.
