Please be aware that hunting season (archery) started this past Saturday in Georgia and rifle season will begin in a few weeks. Hunting is permitted on Army Corps of Engineers Land (Bartram Trail), Keg Creek, and much of the adjacent private property around Bartram Trail. Apparently, hunting is allowed across the trail.
Please be sure to wear an orange safety vest, or something similar, and try to avoid using the trail at dawn or dusk.
Be smart, be seen, and be safe.
Below is information we recently received from an Army Corps of Engineers Ranger regarding hunting on Corps land and around Bartram Trail.
Thank you for your support.

It might be worth the investment in one of these: tinyurl.com/mlfuox8 if you like to ride early or late. Don't know of the local guys have it in stock, but I'm sure they can get it for you. Yea, it may be a little tacky, but if it saves you a bullet....
