Anyone need some road bike tires? I have a pair of lightly used (only about 270 miles) Michelin Pro4 Endurance tires, sized 700x25. $35 each or $65 for the pair. I can include some Challenge latex tubes for $20.
Note: Michelins typically mount up larger than the claimed width, on my wide rims these are almost 28mm wide. Make sure your frame and fork has clearance if you are interested.
They're in great shape, and are crazy smooth and grippy on the road, but the tall pointy profile doesn't work that great off road when the dirt is loose. I'm selling because I have a pair of tubeless Hutchinson 28's on the way, which I hope will work a little better in the dirt, and I really want to try Road Tubeless.
And yes, you can mount this onto your 29er for road duty. Wouldn't that be a nice option to have with all this awesome weather we've had lately??
