www.pisgahareasorba.org/2012/07/brevard-to-open-bracken-mountain-trails/ Next time you are in Brevard, check this out. Big climb out of the parking lot. I measured 609' elevation gain in the first 1.42 miles. It was steep in places for sure. Coming back down that was a hoot. The loop rides like FATS with big Pisgah views. It needs to narrow up a bit and the city may keep it wide, I dunno. But it rides good, flows good and goes up and down alot with a bunch of stunning views. As it says the trail links Brevard to a gravel road 7ish miles above the Fish Hatchery. 475C is the road and it is quite a ride itself.

If the climbing is up front, its all good. I love the Brevard area and my wife does too, so this might be one where we can go for me to ride and her to hang out.
