I rode Mistletoe today, came in from the back entrance and from the get go there were lots of trees down. A couple of them right after the white gate, and once into the back door singletrack there were more. Many of the trees aren't riders do to the way they fell or the fact that the actual tree top is on the trail and will need a great deal of trimming. There are some huge trees down that are not across the trail, but it's sad to see some of these ancient giants laid over on top of one another. It is going to take a lot of work to get the trail in good riding condition, it became quite laborious stopping and dismounting every few hundred feet.

I also went out this morning and this was my first time on this trail. While it could definitely be worse judging by the amount of trees down that were not on the trail, it wasn't the funnest ride I've been on due to dismounting so often. Other than that, I really enjoyed this trail, definitely has its own character! I look forward to possibly helping to clear the trees off this trail and riding again

Thanks so much for the update guys, we have an Explore the Trail ride out there at the end of the month in conjunction with a Mistletoe event. I'll get it onto the agenda for the meeting tomorrow night to see if we can get something done before then..........any clue as to how many and where they are located (evenly disbursed or down in clumps)? Thank you

As stated above I went in the back door, the singletrack that connects to Rock Dam has one tree top down on it that needs to be cleaned up with a rider down diagonally across the trail before it. I went CCW once I got to the trail 2-3 down before the first creek crossing, maybe one more before you get to the service road that splits the trail. After you cross the road there are 2-3 more down before the off camber rocky ridge. Cliatt was pretty clean, once back on Rock Dam there were a few more riders / non-riders for some scattered on the way back to the back door. The gully needs to be cleaned out where the heavy rains washed piles of leaves down into it which makes navigating it nearly impossible. Give a heads up on a impromtu work day and I will try to make it. We are going out of town this weekend but should be ok after that.
