I think it's after Jaws so, at least the 3rd stream crossing. Jaws is the third creek crossing, I was thinking Modoc also and the one after Jaws.

Brian you are getting closer........ there are indeed three bike creek crossings on Modoc and then the next creek crossing is one with a bridge over it at the 4 mile mark............. I just knew that dsquaredmsquared would have this one just as quickly as I posted it..................

Hint - it is not one of the three stream crossings at Modoc! Okay.....it's a ditch crossing at Modoc? I know it's on Modoc.

You are correct Dustin it is on Modoc and it is a ditch crossing just not one of the bike creek crossings! It is somewhere between about the 3 and 4 mile mark and if you look at the photos from riders photos on the forum you will see dsquaredmsquared crossing this very ditch - normally it does not have water but this was taken after all that rain a couple of weeks ago!

Yeah I took that pic, that's how I recognized the ditch. A ditch is just a dry creek anyways ya know Here's the next one.

If I recall this line is no longer there but up-slope a bit....... Is that the old line on Deep Step at the power line closest to the road?

O.K., I have two to choose from and this may be the harder of the pair. Let's see how it goes... Where in the CSRA? Hint: I'm standing just off the trail and the picture does not do the depth/height/scale of this area justice.

Yes, sir. Just off to the left, on the sandy switchbacks, as you're climbing up to Tower. Or, as you said, when going down, this ginormous ravine is on your right. I have another, but will wait until I correctly guess another picture;prolly in the next year or two You're up next.
