What's this about a burn? Trails should be dry by the weekend right?
My backup plan is Mistletoe I think. I used to camp there alla time when I was younger. Never knew there was a trail there now. Maybe I'll ride both if I am so blessed.

Looking at what was reported on the weather channel looks like we received just under an inch and a half early on Tuesday morning. I suspect since it will stay sunny, the trees are leafing out, etc FATS will probably be open by the weekend but if it is judging by what we saw on the new part of Bartram on Sunday afternoon - the water table is high and ground seepage comes with that this time of year.
Even if FATS opens, at the very least the lower Skinny loop will probably be too wet to ride without damaging the trail. Just want to get that planted in folks minds since I know people are eager to ride.

The Forest Service won't be burning during Master's Week and since they are trying not to burn on the weekends either .....a burn should not be occuring prior to next week.

I'll be poking around the trails Friday and/or Saturday, and/or Sunday as well and depending on availability of Masters tickets / hangover status. Blue Volvo Wagon, dark tint, Thule rack, Cobb plates.
