Well the trails are certainly muddy at this point but this Sunday is Andy Jordan's Lick Fork Lake Road Ride...........this is a great opportunity for you to support one of our corporate members .....Andy Jordan's Bicycle Warehouse.....this ride benefits the Habitat for Humanity for North Augusta....Andy will hold registration open until Friday night at 6pm (at his shop on 13th Street) if we have members that want to participate. There is no same day registration for this event. Details and entry form below -
HABITAT FOR HUMANITY
LICK FORK LAKE RIDE

SUNDAY JUNE 5, 2005
Ride your bike 20, 40, OR 62.5 miles (metric century) along scenic country roads in picturesque Edgefield County. SAG wagons and PowerAde rest stops along the way. Restrooms available at park. Cookout for all participants after the ride. Ride starts and ends at Lick Fork Lake Park in Sumter National Forest. All roads are paved with little traffic. Terrain is flat to rolling hills.
Registration fee: $20. 100 rider limit and no ride-day registration due to park regulations. Entries must be received by June 2nd. There is a $3 parking fee charged by the Park. Carpooling is strongly encouraged!
Registration and check-in: 7:30 to 8:30 am. Ride starts at 8:30 am.
Mountain, Hybrid, and Road Bikes are all OK.
All net proceeds go to Habitat for Humanity of N. Augusta
Riders under 16 must be accompanied by an adult
All riders must wear a helmet

From Ga: Take I-20 E. into S.C. Take Exit #1, then Left. Go 17 miles, and then turn right into the park. Look for “Bike Ride” signs. Follow park & “Bike Ride” signs to main entrance. The $3 parking fee per vehicle will be collected at the gate. Check-in is ahead by the lake.
From S.C. Take I-20 W. to S.C. Exit 1, then Right. Directions are the same as above. See map on front of this flyer for more details.
