I can't find anywhere about the ETTR dates on the website or the forums, but I have my calender at work marked Oct. 10 @ LCHT. Is this right? If so, what time will the ride start?

That was the original plan, but at the last chapter meeting we decided to move it to Mistletoe since we did one at LCHT earlier this year. We never decided on a date.
I vote for either the 16th or 17th. The cyclocross race is the weekend of the 10th.

We had a great turnout- 21 riders, I think. Nice weather, fun trail. Thanks to Julie for making the pound cake. Mark Y, D squared, and I cut some trees before the ride. Everybody made it through the ravine....

Awesome! I was sorry I missed it, I had been looking forward to it for a while, I love the trails there. But after not sleeping much at all Sat night and not gettting home till after noon on Sunday I just didn't feel like going. Glad there was a good turn out!

JonT, anyone tumble down the hill on that section where it is rooty, rocky, and off camber?

Hahah JonT said stay high in that section but before I even had a chance to attempt to do that I found myself beginning to tumble down the hill. That trail was fun and tough. Glad I went and glad to see so many other people. Was a beautiful day. Thumbs up Julie on the pound cake!

I didn't see anyone tumble down, but quite a few people had to dab, stop, and/or dismount. I rode the whole section way high, sometimes in the leaves, and (finally) made it all the way.
On this ETTR, people weren't as spaced out so there were a few traffic jams at the harder features/obstacles. Not the fastest pace, but it was good for watching/learning how others negotiated the tricky stuff. I think most everyone had an enjoyable ride.
JonT was an excellent ride leader and JP3 was a most patient sweeper.

I hadn't ridden Mistletoe in at least four or five years so it was a welcome reunion with the trail. Many thanks to the guys who cleared the trees off the trail! It's a fun ride. Let me know if you want to go up there again soon Dustin.
Thanks for all the warnings on the ravines and stream-crossings John. A few of them can really sneak up on you.

I was glad to make it to this ride, very fun trail!
Man when you guys set a time you aren't kidding! I pulled in at 2:05 and almost missed the group. Sorry about the tardiness and thanks for waiting for me to unload my bike and stuff. It took me longer to make the drive than I expected, maybe I didn't go the best way. I came up I-20 to exit 175 (from the Daniel Field area), is it quicker to go up Washington Rd to Pollard's Corner with the traffic and all?

Is that HWY 150? If so, that would seem to be the fastest way. Prolly the better part of an hour from Augusta proper considering the slower ride down the road after turning off 150 at the church.
