Anyone done it using a 20" tube?
How'd it go?
Thinking about trying it on a non-tubeless wheelset I have.

I've heard of it being done. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

One of the difficulities you'll have doing that is the tubes typically don't have a removeable core in the valve stem. Trying to get the tires to seat with a standard presta valve is tough. Even with my UST tubeless rims, I can't get the tires to seat without removing the core and using a compressor.

With Stan's rims I can seat the bead on tires using a floor pump ;D Well, I can with the tire's I've used so far.

Bill are you taking up bmx racing?? No, I just got a sweet set of tubeless rims attached to hubs that are "Fool's Golded" and won't turn. So I am on a bike without tubeless rims and have tubes in there. I don't want tubes in there. I want tubeless. But I don't want to pay $22 for a Stan's rimstrip and will $8 for a Stan's stem. So I paid $3 for a 20 inch presta tube, watched a video on youtube for free on how to do it, and am now ready to try it. Should be interesting. Damn, I forgot to get an presta adaptor for the compressor.

NIMBY. Yeah i saw a few bike that showed the result of this race. If each one of you doesn't completely take your "ENTIRE" bike apart for cleaning then I feel bad for ya. One guy had completely worn out his 2 month old fork seals and everytime his fork compressed it sucked red clay into his fork.
