I am going to cut trees on Keg this Saturday, the 26th and would like some help. If we can get two sawyer groups, so much the better. You do not have to be a certified sawyer for this trail. It will be very hot again, so we'll start at 7:30am and quit at noon regardless. I figure we'll ride in, I can carry my saw in a backpack, so we don't waste time walking. Bring more water than you think you'll need.

I was getting ready to post the same work party for Sat, Jul 10 as that will be the first chance I'll have. What doesn't get done this weekend, we'll clean up then.

Hesitant to commit to this one yet JT. My to-do list this weekend is not funny. Don't count me out though. I'll be in touch.

I thought I might work with someone else this weekend, but I haven't heard anything yet. If not, I will show up too.

The Drawdys, Mark Y., and I cut a bunch of trees this morning, some were a real mess. Still about 3 miles in the middle that we did not get to.

DNR was supposed to start repairing the WMA service road this weekend - could be an easier way to access the middle third for maintenance.
