As a tribute to a lost childhood friend in one of the towers in NY I have added some new accessories to my bike. Also went to a ceremony at the Govt building in Evans this morning and have to say hearing a lone bell ring brought me right back to that morning and remember hearing and watching the events unfold unknowing that a friend was in the towers. I had lost touch with my friend and found out later he lost his life in the second tower to fall. Just wanted to pay tribute to a lost childhood friend. Tom

Tom,
Have a friend that I graduated from Ringling School of Art and Design with.He is a very talented computer animator and graphic designer. He was living in one of his penthouses freelancing in NY at the time.He felt the impacted of the first plane that hit.Grabbed a camera went outside and started filming, the things that he saw forever changed his life.He now lives in Tampa no job no drivers license, I don't need to say more. Some of us will never forget.

I was in high school, and we had just started my Law class, and someone said there was an airplane crash in NYC. We turn the TV on, and think "wow, how did an accident like this happen" Just before the teacher turned the TV off to get back to class, another plane suddenly comes into the screen, and into the 2nd tower. We knew then it wasn't an accident. I'll never forget that day.

I'll never forget either Dustin. My wife had worked the night shift and I was downstairs doing some administrative work on my laptop while keeping one ear and eye on the news. Steve Ducey was commenting on a "possible small plane" hitting the one of the WTC towers and they were shooting the news from a high floor where you could see the smoke coming from the WTC in the background behind Ducey and whoever the other person was. When the second plane hit I went upstairs and woke my wife up and told her to get up, the poop may be hitting the fan. I've never felt such an unsettling and helpless feeling in my life watching those events unfold and the towers fall.
