Just wanted to pass this along. The Georgia State Cyclocross Championships are going to be held at the ASU athletic complex Nov. 18th... I know it's early, but just wanted to give you guys a heads up, if you haven't been to a cross race before, it's something neet to ck out. If you choose to come bring a cow bell or some type of noise maker, us cross guys love the noise.. You can see the complete cross schedule at www.georgia-cross.com We'll start having practices pretty soon at Lake Olmstead park on Wed. nights...

If I was in the area I'd definitely go and I'd bring my cowbell. If ever there was a spectator side of cycling, cross is it. With luck it'll be rainy and nasty and sloppy for some real fun.

Last year we had the perfect conditions, we also had a 20% increase in participants. There is a big UCI race in NC this same weekend, but since it's the GA. State Champ. hopefully we will get full GA. participation...
Personally, I'd like rain during the night and not during the race. It was pretty darn miserable last year... ;D
