I know this is an off-road site but I bet there's a few here who who are bi-terrainial and ride on the road also. Yeah, I just made that word up. I'm looking for some teammates who want to do the Tour de Fort on Fort Gordon in October. www.fortgordon.com/tour_de_fort.htmI'm doing it on a mountain bike with some road tires, I ran the loop today and it took me a little over an hour. I plan on biking it more to get a bit faster for the race. Let me know if you're interested.

Quite a few of our riders also travel on the dark side (asphalt) and participate in the Tour de Fort but what I really love is that new word ..................... bi-terrainial - I'll be using it from now on sounds ........cosmopolitan!

Since I hadn't found anyone I had written off racing in it...I didn't feel like riding for 12 hours by myself. I'm on the fence right now, if we can get a team of more than 2 I'm still interested. I just don't want to ride that loop 6 or so times. I'm using a mountain bike with road tires.

driftwood....have you tried contacting Bill Browning, the Sports and Fitness Director @ Ft Gordon? He may be of some help in locating others who may wish to join a team for the race. His e-mail is browninw@gordon.army.mil
