I have brand new Shimano 44t chainring that was pulled off a SLX Crankset for sale (here is a SLX crankset www.rei.com/product/778787). I am not sure what the exact model number is, but it is one step down from the XT model weight-wise, but it is more durable. $20 bucks If don't need your outer-ring anymore, I also have a Shimano Saint bashguard (here is an example www.outsideoutfitters.com/p-1254-shimano-saint-m800-bashguard.aspx). It is used, but in very good shape. $6 bucks or a 6-pack of decent beer. Last item is a brand new Titec Hellbent 3-D stem. It is 110mm long, 10 degree rise, 31.8 mm clamp size. I tried it once and need a shorter stem. $10 bucks or trade for shorter stem (around 90mm)

Nitro: I have the Titec 3D Knock-rated stems in both 90mm and 105mm x 10 degrees (31.8mm) in the garage. You are welcome to borrow one or both and see which works better for you. Keep'em for a month, keep'em for 3 months, then you can toss me a six pack if you decide to keep one of'em. If not, hand'em back.
PM or email me if interested. I will be in Brevard, NC this weekend though.

P.S. Lovin' the 29er scene!

I'll take you up on that offer Michael. I am trying to get my full rigid Niner dialed in, and it would really help to try out that shorter stem. I'll shoot you an e-mail. Thanks!
