There are two work parties scheduled for this coming weekend - the temperatures will be great and there is 3 miles worth of trail that needs to be finished. As long as it is not raining at the time of the work party the work parties will be conducted...........check the website for updates if you are unsure. Saturday, January 21 at 9:00am Ray Shivley will be leading the work party - meet at the end of the 662A in the cul de sac. You can bring gloves, water, snack and loppers if you have any. The work will start on the trail just below the end of the cul de sac. Sunday, January 22nd at 9:00am Bryan Bigsby will be leading the work party - travel down 662A and watch for cars along the way to determine where to park. Again bring gloves, water, snack and loppers if you have any. In the event the trail cannot be finished on these two days the crews will be clearing corridor on the next loop. So far we have had a total of 75 folks put in 866 hours on this trail. We will be conducting a large IMBA - SORBA joint work party on March 25 & 26th that will hopefully also be the official grand opening of the trail - that isn't very far away - come out and help this weekend if you can before the cold weather returns.. Bill Victor estimates we need at least 15 volunteers to work each day this coming weekend. Let us know if you can work!!
