As of the last report, Keg Creek Trail has several trees down, several debris fields where the lake was over the trail and in need of a bridge replacement towards the end.

The bridge has been replaced on Keg Creek but there are still about 20 trees down on that trail. Stay tuned.

Approximately 44 trees have been removed on the first 4 miles of Keg Creek (traveling CW from the Keg Creek TH). There are still 18 trees to be removed on the last 4 or 5 miles of trail. In the last mile or so logging operations has deposited trees, branches and debris on the trail for a short section.
Once all the trees have been removed a work party will be set up to finish cleaning this trail up. Stay tuned!

The main Keg Creek work party will take place this Saturday, June 27th. If you can devote a few hours of time we would appreciate your help. You do not need to ride, run or hike this trail in order to volunteer, we will pair you up with a seasoned volunteer. Email us at sorba.csra@gmail.com if you can help and we will send you all the details!
We only have about half the volunteers we need for this work party, if you can't help please spread the word!
Thank you!

We have removed over 100 trees off this trail and have recorded well over 100 volunteer hours getting this trail into shape. Now is the time to go ride this trail. If you like your trails on the advanced side (for this area) with lots of personality and some challenges, this trail will fit the bill. If you are an intermediate rider it will help improve our mountain biking skills.
The Trail Champions for this trail will continue to fine tune it as time goes by but check it out now!
